A cornerstone of the DIS education is “experiential learning,” meaning our courses will take you beyond classroom walls to explore the world around you.

From Field Studies with local researchers and organizations to weeklong Study Tours to an academically-relevant European destination, experiential learning is in everything we do.

On Study Tours, you will travel with your classmates and see your academics from a new perspective. Led by your faculty, Study Tours take you into real-world settings where you will apply what you’ve learned outside the classroom.
